The company was founded in 1998 by Wayne and Catherine Donaldson. We are a company that continually strives to ensure that our clients are not only satisfied but feel like part of the family. With nearly 2 decades in the tourism business, we have built up great relationships with agents, lodge owners and other reputable companies in the tourism industry. We have also built great relationships with repeat clients and enjoy word of mouth referrals. That in itself is the best feedback we can receive. We as a company specialize in privately guided safaris in Southern Africa, as well as private up-market tours in and around Cape Town. We are knowledgeable in what South Africa as a country has to offer. We therefore are happy to structure great packages to suit you- from a safari, to a Garden Route tour and an awesome Cape Town experience! We have arranged many honeymoon packages and welcome couples to get in touch with us to assist them in arranging the honeymoon of a life time.
After school Wayne travelled to a few countries around the world before settling in Cape Town where he studied courses in hotel management. Wayne qualified as a tour guide in 1996 and then started the business with co-founder and wife, Catherine in 1998.
During his early years of guiding Wayne continued to further his studies doing various courses in wine, nature guiding and photography. Wayne is a specialist wine guide, is a FGASA level 2 Nature Guide and is a keen photographer.
This wide but complimentary range of skills enables Wayne to offer his clients a well-rounded safari and Southern African adventure. With the many private safaris that Wayne has guided at private camps, he also honed his cooking skills around the open fire and is quite “the bush chef”.
When Wayne is not on a private safari somewhere in Southern Africa you will find him at home with his family in Cape Town, either doing private wine tours or tours up the Garden Route. When he has time to relax, you find him with fishing rod in hand or photographing his children romping on the beach.
